Engaging an international audience
The 2012 festival identity was created by 2×4 in New York. Led by an ad campaign that featured Brigitte Lacombe’s cinematic photography, I was part of a team that rolled it out to billboards, flags and magazines across the city. After the campaign went live, I created collateral for almost every major department at the festival – from the Box Office to the Gulf Development Unit and Community Outreach teams – so they could engage schools, critics, filmmakers and the general public. My work included tickets, invitations, calendars, flyers, postcards, envelopes, award guidelines, registration forms, HTML emails and web banners. All of which helped promote Qatar, the institute and its festival on an international stage.
